Overseas Students
Overseas Students are an integral part of the St Peters Lutheran College community. The College is CRICOS registered and welcomes admission applications from Overseas Students at our Indooroopilly campus only. If your child is an Overseas Student, a 500 Student Visa is required. More information about studying in Australia on this visa can be found on the Department of Home Affairs website.
Overseas Student Applications
Online applications for Overseas Students must be received no later than 30 June in the year prior to commencement. This requirement allows for finalisation of the application and visa process before the commencement of the school year. This will avoid any interruption to studies and ensure that mandatory attendance requirements are adhered to.
Education Services for Overseas Students
The College is bound by the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000, or ESOS Act, which establishes legislative requirements and standards for the quality assurance of education and training institutions offering courses to international students in Australia on a student visa. ESOS also provides tuition fee protection for international students.

Application Process
Complete an online application form. All applications require a non-refundable fee of $300.00 per student.
Following the submission of a complete admissions application, the application will be reviewed in accordance with our Overseas Student Policies.
The completion of the online application form does not guarantee acceptance of your child’s enrolment.
Upon review of your application, you and your child may be invited to attend an interview with a member of the Senior Leadership Team to discuss your application.
Places offered at St Peters are at the discretion of the Head of College.
Due to a limited number of placements, not all students who apply will be offered a place in the College.
Upon receipt of a place offer, you will be required to confirm your acceptance by signing the official agreements with the College and paying, before the stated deadline:
- a non-refundable acceptance fee of $1250.00
- one semester’s tuition fees, levies and other charges and boarding fees if applicable
Upon receipt of the abovementioned fees and charges, and the relevant signed documents a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) will be issued so you may proceed to apply for a subclass 500 student visa.
The College is unable to assist with obtaining a relevant visa.
Tuition fees and boarding fees do not cover the cost of uniforms, textbooks, stationery, boarding pocket money or any other fees and charges. Parents must take into consideration extra costs for accommodation and care during term holidays, air travel to and from Australia and any additional health costs, above the Overseas Students Health cover, which is mandatory for an application for a student visa.
