2022 has been a spectacular year for Swimming at St Peters and we'd like to once again congratulate the St Peters Boys AIC and Girls QGSSSA Swimming teams for their incredible success at this year's AIC and QGSSSA Swimming Championships. Their achievements were very much the result of dedication and hard work by both the swimmers and the coaching team and the St Peters Swimming community should be very proud. St Peters Lutheran College’s iconic Ironbark program has been covered widely since its installation as a permanent program in the 1970s, and it’s one that deserves all the publicity. For 45 years, the Ironbark outdoor education program has been a rite of passage for St Peters students—it’s offered the chance to get back to basics, with students jumping at the opportunity to experience rural life for five weeks. It’s a year overdue, but, finally, the ‘Tokyo 2020’ Summer Olympic Games are here. With the Opening Ceremony taking place this Friday 23 July, it’s a very exciting time. The 124th Queensland Athletics Championships took place from 11-14 March—the state’s premier Track & Field event for the year. Featured in the Championships were more than a handful of St Peters Track & Field stars, proving we’ve definitely got a few to watch as the years progress!

Career profiling is an important aspect of Year 10 where students are empowered to realise and embrace their potential career path. Our teachers help these students to work towards their goals and make a difference in the world.

A unique opportunity was created after the cancellation of our Year 6 political tour to Canberra in 2020. In true Plus Ultra spirit our teachers persevered and were able to provide an educational experience encompassing all the wonderful aspects of the Canberra tour called the ‘Law and Order Tour’.
