Megan Daley Launches Buzzworthy New...
Earlier this term, Teacher Librarian and St Peters Old Scholar, Megan Daley (1993), launched her debut children's picture book titled 'The Beehive.' Illustrated by Max Hamilton and published by Walker Books, this book celebrates Australian native bees, the unsung heroes of pollination. We spoke with Megan about her inspiration behind the story, her experience creating a picture book, and her aspirations for 'The Beehive.'

St Peters’ Ironbark Program
St Peters Lutheran College’s iconic Ironbark program has been covered widely since its installation as a permanent program in the 1970s, and it’s one that deserves all the publicity. For 45 years, the Ironbark outdoor education program has been a rite of passage for St Peters students—it’s offered the chance to get back to basics, with students jumping at the opportunity to experience rural life for five weeks. Future Problem Solving Nationals
Two St Peters Future Problem Solving (FPS) teams have been selected to compete in the FPS National Finals this October. To get there, the students explored the topic of Human Environmental Impact and, in the final, they’ll move to investigating the future of Personalised Medicine. Some big issues there, but nothing our students aren’t equipped to handle.

Advice from Old Scholars
2021 has been a year of reintroductions—from Sport fixtures, to live Music performances and community events.
